Razak Seidu, Associate Professor
Razak Seidu is the leader of the Water and Environmental Engineering Research Group. He has a PhD in Water and Environmental Engineering from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. Dr. Seidu has more than 10 years of experience in the water and sanitation sector. Besides his research work in Norway, he has also been involved in major water and wastewater related projects in Sweden, Ghana, Colombia, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Bolivia, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia and South Africa. He has also worked as water and sanitation consultant for several international organizations including the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), United Nations Habitat Program (UN-Habitat), World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Bank.
Dr. Seidu is a technical advisory member of the WHO group on Water and Sanitation. He is also a member of the International Water Association, and has served as a board member of the International Ecological Engineering Society.
Kristian Fjørtoft, Lecturer
Kristian Fjørtoft has a Master degree in Water and Environmental Engineering from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. He is now working on his PhD on biogas, also at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. At Aalesund University College his focus is on teaching of the Water and Environmental Engineering courses for the bachelor students, and involvement in smaller projects, especially in the biogas sector.
